Blackwell's, Oxford

Westgate Oxford is a major shopping centre set in the middle of Oxford City. The original centre having been refurbished and extended at a cost of £500 million and forming a key part of the regeneration of Oxford city centre. Blackwell’s Bookshop is well positioned at the end of the mall adjacent to the large anchor store John Lewis.
Blackwell’s wanted a stand out, eye catching design. The shop front spells out the word ‘BOOKS’ in a variety of interesting and unique displays while the inside features a large artificial oak tree complete with seating. A Blackwell’s bookshop with a difference!
The site fit out work was equally challenging working on such a large site with strict health and safety procedures, interfacing with the developments building services and working to a tight deadline. The results speak for themselves.
